Memorial Weekend Visitors

The Johnson family came to visit over Memorial Day!  We always love having visitors up our way.  Sadly, this weekend it rained a lot so we weren't able to get out and do all the fun things I was hoping.  I guess we will just have to save them for another time.  Saturday we took the kids to the cheap theater and saw Mirror Mirror.  Then met up with my dad, who was staying at my grandma's, for dinner.
Sunday we'd planned a fun picnic for after church but of course it was still raining.  We improvised and put a blanket out in the living room and had an indoor picnic.  Then we decided to chance the weather and we headed up to Mesa Falls.  We did take a few umbrellas which came in handy.

This was at the little museum when it started raining a little too hard to be outside.

It may have been a slightly cold and wet trip but it was still fun.

As for Monday, we had a ward breakfast and then came back and cleaned up for the day.  Then headed down to grandma's to spend a little time and went to the Ammon cemetery were my grandpa and lots of other family members are buried.  It was a great way to end the Memorial weekend.
