Miss Independant

I've always wondered when your suppose to let your children start feeding themselves with actual utensils. Well that was one easy decision. The only way Addy will eat anything is when she does it herself. I'm not really sure where she gets her stubborn streak from (haha).

I was quite nervous at first because I thought that food would be everywhere and I would have a huge mess to clean up. Apparently she's been practicing in her sleep or something because there was hardly any mess at all. Just look at that concentration.

Occasionally she would miss her mouth and food would slide down her chin and onto the table. It wasn't anything that required a strip down and straight into the bath like I was thinking.

And she is just so happy to be doing it all by herself.

Retro

This is my lastest sewing project. My mom sent up some really cute fabric and I still have another dress in the works but it takes me awhile when I can only work on it during nap time.

I took Addy with me to nusery because they needed a little extra help. All I can say is that I hope she does better when I am not there. She spent most of her time hitting the other kids when they took her toys or crying and throwing small fits on the floor. Hopefully she grows out of that in a month or else I feel really bad for the nursery leaders.

One of the nursery leaders called Addy's dress retro which I think fits.

She really is into this tantrum stage which is quite funny to watch as she runs and throws her body onto the floor when you take something away or say no. But overall she is a cute little thing with a very funny personality or as some may call it attitude. I can't help but laugh and gobble her up everyday!

Fruit Loops

The other day I found Addy sneaking into the cupboard and pulling out the fruit loops and stuffing them into her mouth.

I had never even given her fruit loops before so it really cracked me up when I saw how many she was stuffing in her mouth at one time.

You would think she would go for the cookies and good stuff right below the cereal but I guess this was right at eye level.

Gotta love that face!

A quick shout out...

...to my hubby.

Who made this beautiful craft area just for me!! Well more accurately he made it for us. He hated all my scrapbooking stuff on the kitchen table and my yarn and fabric all over in the basement. So now it is organized and all in one place. I just love it! It makes doing crafts and projects much easier because I can just close the door when I am done and it hides the mess!

I have a place for all my yarn and knitting supplies. Plus my paper in the shelves above or above since the picture is upside down.

My magazines and patterns.

All the scrapbooking and sewing accesories.

And the scrap paper.

Now I just need a chair, which I am hoping to get for my birthday in a couple weeks!!
