Sunday Evening's

For the last couple months we have started telling stories on Sunday evenings.  I'm not sure how it began but it used to be ghost stories in the winter because the sun went down much earlier so we would pull out the flashlight and tell scary stories.  On one such evening, Addy started telling us a story and then said, "wait, I want to do it scary" and then she restarted with "Once upon a time..." in a super scary voice. I wish I had that one on camera!
Now that it is spring, bed time comes before it is dark enough for scary stories so we've started doing just pretend make believe stories.
Here are a few of the stories we heard tonight:

(and yes he is probably going to kill me for posting this, but I just couldn't resist!)

I promise I take my turn telling stories as well but they are always MEGA lame and definitely not worth posting!

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday Addy woke up to a basket filled with goodies and toys from the Easter Bunny.  Gotta love the dollar store and the DI!  We didn't have time to play with any of the stuff because we had to be to my sisters ward before 9:00 for Katelynn's baby blessing.  So Addy pretty much looked what was in the basket and then we put it all away and rushed to get ready.

After church we came by to my parents for lunch and then we played with the bubbles and fun stuff from the basket.

Then later we had the annual easter egg hunt.  This year we hid and found about 180 eggs.
I think trying to get everyone lined up is the hardest part.
 And the hunt begins!

Addy was so good at finding the eggs all on her own.

I think this is my favorite picture of the day!  She was so proud of herself for finding that egg under the picnic table.

Then she lined them all up to count.

And now we have a lot of easter treats!

Later on that night while us big kids were playing game.  These cute little girls decided it would be fun to bring all the toys and play in the bathtub!  They seriously went room to room making little or big messes.  Thankfully they are pretty good about helping to clean up or grandma may never have invited them back!

Katelynn's Sealing

We had another fun trip to Utah this weekend.  We were able to be there for the sealing and blessing of little Katelynn Ruth as well as to celebrate Easter.

Patiently waiting outside the temple with Aunt Chelsea.

Here is little Katelynn!  She is such a cutie and we were lucky to be a part of her special day!

The "Anderson" family minus my brother Tyler.

Our attempts at a family picture.

This little gal was having a blast running around with her Uncle Alex.  It was a little torturous to take her away from the fun to get some pictures!

Here they are getting ready to sneak up on grandma!
 All three cousins.

I am so grateful for the temple and the chance it gives us to live with our families forever!  This was truly a very special day.

what I'm going to miss

You know how people always say to enjoy your kids when they are young because they grow up so fast and then you'll miss it. Well these are just a couple of the random things I know one day I will miss!

I tend to find things in the most random of places!
