Welcome Spring

Well it is now officially spring but it sure doesn't feel like it at our house. I looked out the window this morning and this is what I saw, lots and lots of snow. If you can believe it has already melted to about half of what it used to be. We were really excited to have so much snow but now we are definately ready for it to melt so we can see the beautiful signs of spring!

Trying new things

So our latest home improvement was tiling our entry way. We've been saying we were going to do it for quite awhile but just never got around to it. Then home depot had a great bargain on some carpet that we liked and we just couldn't say no so we ended up ordering carpet for our basement and stairs which meant we had to tile before they could lay it. This was our first experience with tiling and everybody said it would only take us an hour or so but I guess we are just a little slow because it took us a lot longer. Here are just a couple of pictures of the process. The last picture is of the new carpet that we love!

13 weeks

I had my second doctor's appointment monday and everything seems fine. I lost two pounds which was wierd because I haven't even been that sick and I've been eating a lot of ice cream (along with my fruits and vegetables). They also took my blood for some tests and I haven't heard back which is a good sign. We did get to hear the baby's heart beat but all I could really hear was a bunch of fluid sloshing around but the doctor said it sounded like a boy which at this point would be nice just because we are having a hard time coming up with girl names that we like but that could easily change. Now I only have to wait 8 weeks till we find out what it is!!!
