So ever since we bought our house, I've been making a list of different projects I would like to do to update and modernize (i must be my mothers child). We have been painting, changing light fixtures, doorknobs, and face plates on all the outlets all things Mitch did just to make me happy :). One of the few things he wanted was to add another driveway pad because we only have a one car garage so if someone parks in the driveway the other person gets blocked in. Anyways this week we are finally adding the driveway but we are to cheap to pay someone else to do it so we have been having fun learning as we go. Here are a few pictures of the work. The cement gets poured in the morning so i will have to post the after pictures in a few days.

I added this picture because Mitch went to rent the bobcat to dig out the dirt and the guy explained to him how to run it but when he got to the house, it literally took him a half hour to just get it off the trailer. He was getting so frusterated and I was doing everything I could to keep from laughing. Needless to say we got all the dirt dug out and then realized we had it to deep so we had to hand shovel about half off it back in.
