Boo

Turns out we have a ghost living in our house!

Awhile back Addy would want to surprise me by picking up the toys or putting her clothes away. She would always say "don't look mom" so I'd make myself busy with something and she'd do her nice thing and then tell me to look. I'd pretend to be scared thinking there was a ghost in our house. Well one day she found my stash of left over fabric in the closet and came up as a real ghost. She'd even cut out the holes for her eyes. It was so random and put a smile on my house.

Siblings

One of my favorite things as a parent is watching the relationship with these two start to develop.  It is what I wished for for such a long time.  I always knew that Addy would be such a good big sister. A little crazy and wild at times but so playful and fun. She can make him cry the hardest but also laugh the loudest.  Right now they mostly adore each other and I hope that it continues.

If only you could hear her…"No Bwayden, don't get my hair. No Bwayden don't suck my face." All the while laughing and playing.

Trying to get him to stand on his own.  Probably not going to happen for awhile.

Aren't they just the cutest!
I am truly one blessed mom.

Super-baby!

He really is a super-duper baby.  I am amazed at how well he handles his older sisters craziness. She is pretty silly most of the time and he just loves to watch everything she does.

Talent

Who needs handlebars to ride a bike?

Ice Skating

Got to love her creativity!  Ice skating on the tile using gloves to make it slippery.
She is one of a kind!

The candy bum!

This little gal can seriously crack me up.  One afternoon I let her pick out a couple treats and a few minutes later she comes over so excited because her candy has a bum! "It has a what?" was my response.  "A bum" and then she turned it around so I could see and I cracked up.  It did indeed have a little bum.

(and yes we were still eating Halloween candy in December and yes we may still be in our jammies in the middle of the afternoon!)

Still laughing

This little girl is quite a nut!  I asked her to go change out of her swimming suit and back into her normal clothes.  She was whining about needing help and not wanting to do it herself.  So I told her I'd just finished washing some of her clothes so she could go pick some out of the dryer.  Well, it got quiet for awhile so I just assumed she'd gone down to her room to change.  I walk into the laundry/pantry room to get some cans for dinner and I see her inside the dryer digging around for some clothes!  She'd already thrown a few things out on the floor to wear and I think she was just looking for some undies or something.  It sure made my day and cracked me up for quite some time!

silliness

Oh how I love this crazy girl of mine!

Dinner time just wouldn't be the same without her.

House

Definition: a. A structure serving as a dwelling for one or more persons, especially for a family.

I think a couch makes a great house.  Each of those pillows she said were her rooms.

b. Something, such as a burrow or shell, that serves as a shelter or habitation for a wild animal.

The laundry bag definitely makes a great shell for a wild animal!
Gotta love the imagination of a three year old.

Stylin'

This girl has some serious style!  I love to see the outfits she picks out in the mornings. They are usually rocker-ish.  I've tried to teach her about matching and show her what shirts and pants go together.  Sometimes I'm just happy to see her be so carefree because I know it won't last forever.

This is the face of someone who just got caught drawing in the living room.

We quickly fixed that problem and got situated at the table.

Her new favorite thing is to do faces while I take pictures so she can look at them after. So although it looks like she is sticking her tongue out at me, it is just a silly face.
But check out the leopard pants, jammy shirt, church shoes, one glove (my guess is she couldn't get the other one on), and baby headband.

We are very proud parents!

Pwetty Wipstick

This is what happens when I leave my purse out on the table.

I think she was originally searching for gum (her new favorite treat) but came across some of my lipstick in the process. It was just as great!!

When I finished the breakfast dishes, I look over and just see brown covering her face and ask what she got into. She responds, "It's my pwetty wipstick". I chuckle and say, "Yes, you just look so pretty but please don't get into my purse without asking. Let's go get in the bath."

Miss Fancy Pants

So I am super behind on my blog and hopefully in the next couple of days I can get caught up.
In the mean time, here are just some silly pictures from a couple weeks ago of our crazy little fancy pants. Hopefully they make you laugh just as much as we did when we were taking them!

Seriously, I'm not sure where this girl came from (okay so I really do) but I'm so glad I get to be with her every day! She makes me laugh and wears me out all at the same time. Especially today when she clogged the toilet after using half a roll of paper to wipe herself! I heard her knocking from the inside of the bathroom door so I went to open it and let her out (sometimes the door gets stuck).
Once I saw her face, I knew something was up because she looked like "oh no, I'm not really sure what I just did but I know it wasn't good". Then I saw all the water on the floor and the water that was still coming from the toilet and then I just started laughing because it was all just too funny. Sadly, I didn't get a picture because my camera was with Mitch. I would say maybe next time, but I kinda hope there isn't a next time!
